Quirky rooms - good value - helpful concierge - great location. It's cheap and cheerful - decoration a little shabby. Wifi worked perfectly and fast and free.

Cute hotel, close to the train station and the city center, easy to find, reception open till late, friendly and helpful staff, good value for money. Rooms originally decorated, all different. Comfortable beds, clean. Will stay again.
No elevator - although the hotel receptionist was very kind to bring our suitcases up. Windows are facing the street, some noise. Weird towels - for 2 people you get 2 thick and small hand towels which look like shower mats a bit,one real shower mat, one small towel and one bath towel...had to ask for a second bath towel, was provided. The matress is covered in plastic under the sheet, makes noise when you turn...Otherwise, all is well.

Although there was no elevator and our room was on the top floor with narrow stairways leading to it, when we checked in he carried our bags to our room. The hotel isn't far from the train station and also close to the sights in the city. We would stay there again.

The owner likes French painters-impressionists. Therefore, many reproductions from well-known pictures are everywhere in the hotel.
The old and little house has no elevator. The spiral staircase to rooms on the 2-nd and 3-d floor are very steep.

The owner of the hotel was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good even though there were two bikes parked in the dining room. The hotel is very convenient for all the sights and the arrangement for car parking at a nearby underground car park was useful. Remember to get the parking ticket stamped at the hotel and pay before you drive the car to the barrier!
You had to close your eyes to the decor which was the owners interpretation of what a French Impressionist painter might expect. The room and bathroom were small but the whole place had character and was welcoming.

Not impressed! The shower head was broken so I had to hold it up whilst showering. The shower door also wouldn't stay shut. The bed sank in the middle so didn't get a good nights sleep. If your staying for one night like we were it's bearable otherwise spend a bit more money for a nicer hotel.

Internet did not work

The welcome at this hotel was outstanding. I arrived on my motorcycle very hot and tired after a long journey and the host kindly arranged for my panniers to be carried up to the room. The location in the city centre is ideal for shopping or sightseeing.
The use of a plastic mattress protector beneath the under sheet was uncomfortable.

Lovely staff, great location, very comfortable and pleasant stay. I was on the top floor and found the staircase quite charming, but I didn't have to carry a great deal of things upstairs, or any children

A very decent budget hotel with convenient location close to the old city centre, easy to find. Good value for money, perfect for a short city break.
Decoration of my room (Turner room) was a bit dark, but this is a question of taste. I did not see any lift, which may be a problem if you have a lot of luggage. Nothing substantial in fact to mention as a disadvantage, especially for the price.

The receptionist was very friendly. A lot of effort is put in the design of the interior of the hotel and the room. It is very orgininal and creates an exceptional atmosphere.
It was quite hot in the room and a bit noisy.

The room was so unique, so colourful and exceptionally comfortable with a fantastic hot shower, quality toiletries and decorative lighting. Very friendly reception and great location, just a minutes walk to Joan's burial site.
Room was at the top of 2 long flights of stairs which would be difficult for anyone with a disability.

Excellent location for exploring the city centre of Rouen. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and we liked the individual design of the bedroom. Discounted secure underground public parking was available only a short distance from the hotel.
Our only negative comment would be the noise from the street as all of the rooms are located on a modestly busy road.
